During the attack on point 2171 overlooking TAUNGNI on 9th Jul 44, L/Nk. TEK BAHADUR KHATTRI was 2 i/c of a section which charged an enemy L.M.G. posn. and occupied it. He went forward to within five yards of the posn and personally carried back three wounded men from this exposed posn. under heavy fire. We then returned to his section for the assault which finally carried the objective. This gallant action undoubtedly saved the lives of his three comrades. He is
